Mayor Jane Castor Proclaims National Diaper Need Awareness Week in Tampa Bay

The Tampa Bay Diaper Bank is honored to share that Mayor Jane Castor has officially proclaimed September 15–22, 2025, as National Diaper Need Awareness Week in Tampa Bay.

This proclamation recognizes the critical work being done across our region to address diaper need, a challenge that affects one in two U.S. families who struggle to provide enough diapers to keep their babies clean, dry, and healthy.

By shining a spotlight on this issue, Mayor Castor’s proclamation helps bring greater awareness and community action to ensure families have the essential resources they need.
